What is Stripe?

Stripe is a payment processor that runs card payments, identity checks and payouts for a number of creator services. 10er builds its offer on it, offering per release subscriptions, monthly and weekly subscriptions and Stripe payouts to bank account. Its fee line is the part to watch: 10% incl. VAT + Stripe transaction fees, so the processor's own charge sits inside that figure. Identity runs through Stripe, which may take a name, address, bank account and photo ID for payout accounts. Fanfix checks age and identity through Persona Identities, Inc., then onboards payouts through Stripe Connect, which asks for banking and tax details.
